In March 2015, Zi Xie and Andrea Rampin started up a food business, selling high quality Extra Virgin Olive Oils. However, when that business failed to ignite, their olive oil industry knowledge helped them uncovered a new purpose and direction – to start-up a social enterprise called Ocean Deep.
