About Susie White

Eat Drink Innovate

I want to be part of a world in which we can all enjoy the most delicious, desirable and inspiring food possible. It’s my job as a product innovator to help businesses achieve this.

Through innovation coaching, I work with Food and Beverage businesses to help them become more successful innovators. I wrote Innovation Feast: Create new product ideas to feed your hungry business to demonstrate how to create successful new product ideas using a repeatable five-stage framework. I’m currently hosting the Eat Drink Innovate podcast, which showcases food start-ups, innovators and entrepreneurs who are shaking up the Australian food & beverage industry.

Fast Moving Consumer Goods

I worked for over fifteen years in Marketing & Innovation roles within multinational consumer good companies in Australia and Europe.

I learnt the power of listening, observing and working directly with consumers as early as possible to create product ideas that they really wanted to buy.

I trialled and tested innovative processes and tools to uncover opportunities, create ideas, train cross-functional teams and launch new products. I’ve generated innovation pipelines worth over $800 million in sales for companies, such as Cadbury, Kraft Foods, Colgate-Palmolive, Procter & Gamble and Mondelez International.

From The Vineyard

I got into food entrepreneurism from a young age, when growing up and working on my family’s vineyard in North-East Victoria, Australia.

My first jobs were to hand pick and crush the grapes for fermentation, apply labels and seal the foil caps on our family wine bottles.

I was fascinated and delighted by the whole process of creating something that people really enjoyed consuming and would come back to buy again.

This started my journey into food and beverage creation.
